A New Spin on DIY: Do-It-Yourself Credit Repair!

These days, we hear a lot about DIY. Everywhere you turn, it's DIY home repair, DIY interior design, DIY electronics repair (unless you're an electrician, I'm gonna advise you to stay away from that one!), and the list goes on and on. But what about that little four letter word that haunts most of us at one time or another?

D-E-B-T.

Yep, debt. If we don't handle our debts exactly the right way or run into some sort of financial troubles, our credit can suffer and then we'll have bad credit. So many people are suffering needlessly from the stigma of bad credit, and from all the other problems that go along with having bad credit. You can't buy a new car when you need one. You can't get a loan for a house when you find the perfect place. You can't get a credit card. Or how about this: You can't get a job! With many employers running credit checks as part of the pre-employment screening process, your bad credit could disqualify you completely from certain jobs and take points away from your otherwise good record. This is a good enough reason alone to take the bull by the horns and clean up that credit.

And you truly can do it yourself. Lynn Carnes and I have teamed up on this one and have several articles on the WomenCorp site to get you started. Check out our Squidoo lens, too.

If you're ready to get started right away, just go here, read the information, and you'll be on your way to a brand new life. The kind of good life that awaits you when you have good credit! Here's to your fabulous future!

Boost Your Energy Today!

Check out the new post by women's fitness expert Heather Picken on the site today. If you're like most business women, you're always on the go, always busy, and very often exhausted. What to do?

No, lattes are not the answer...and not even one of those pricey energy drinks. Heather really knows her stuff when it comes to fat loss for women (and we all know that's a tricky one - especially when we pass 30!) and women's particular fitness challenges. We're happy to have her as one of our contributing authors and look forward to more of her helpful advice.

Enjoy!
