One thing I always find, no matter where I go, is that women are busy. Too busy! Most of us have 10 or 15 different hats we wear and can change them, "at the drop of a hat", as needed to fit the situation. It's so hard to relax - if we ever have the time. But, relaxing is important. Perhaps it is the most important. So stop first, take a few minutes - just five little minutes - to relax, breathe deeply, and watch this video prepared by our very own career coach, Lynn Carnes. Do You Know What You're Worth?

Priceless, right? Yeah, me too!

Seriously, though, this is one of our favorite subjects here at WomenCorp and surely its one of yours, too, we'd bet. One of the issues is that we, as women, may have a distorted view of our monetary value due to background and social conditioning.

Here's an excerpt from Elinor Stutz's latest article on the WomenCorp site:

Most female entrepreneurs beginning their own business seem to suffer from their own perceived “lack of worth” syndrome. They are so accustomed taking a back seat as housewives and mothers or volunteering for the community greater good, that their inherent skill set has been greatly diminished in terms of monetary value.
